NOTES FROMTHE DESIGNER
I’ve always been drawn to the waythings look, communicate, and make usfeel. But I’ve also been interested inwhat exists beyond the page, howdesign can take shape in the worldaround us, through objects, spaces, and everyday experiences.
Growing up Egyptian, inspiration hasnever felt far away. It’s in the details ofour architecture, the mix of cultures, thecolours, the stories, and the little thingsthat make a place what it is. Beingsurrounded by so much history andcharacter has shaped the way I see theworld, keeping me curious aboutmy surroundings and the possibilitiesthey hold.
I like making the ordinary a little lessordinary. Creating things with character,a sense of place, and a story worthtelling. Things that don’t just look good, but make you feel something.
